Tour 2012: Cruel irony in the “most absurd”
According to Belgian paper Nieuwsblad, this section of road in Wallonia, dubbed the “most absurd road in Europe” by France 3, is included in the route book for Stage 2 of the 2012 Tour de France, 207 kilometers from Visé to Tournai. The Tour’s official website describes the arrival in Tournai as a chance to pay tribute to Wouter Weyland.
